Nicki Minaj Y U Mad music video inspired make up

I couldn't find any clear pictures of this look from Google. I tried taking a picture of the video with my webcam, but it did not come out clear. If you decide to watch this video on YouTube, I am warning you it is explicit and I am not telling you in any way to watch the video if that offends you or if you are underage. I just really loved the make-up and here is my take on it.

I had a different look on already and removed everything from my eye except my mascara. That is why I am wearing mascara still. Also as a blogger I sometimes only do one eye for my looks, that is why you will see purple on my other eye. I apologize in advance.

-First apply a base. I chose to apply a whiter base to my lid and a neutral base to the rest of my eye. I used Maybelline New York Dream Mouse Shadow in "Vanilla Veil" on my eyelid to help make the orange pop!
-Next pack on a bright orange eye shadow to your lid only. I used NYX eye shadow trio in Shangri-La
-Next use a soft brown and put that in your crease using the wind-shield wiper motion. I used a brown from my Coastal Scents 78 Eye Shadow and Blush Combo Palette
-Next apply a light color, I used a white from the Coastal Scents 78 Eye Shadow and Blush Combo Palette and apply that lightly to your inner corner and your brown bone. You also want to apply it a little heavier just below your eyebrow. Like you are tracing the bottom off your brow.
-Next apply a white eye liner to your waterline. Add mascara to your top and bottom lashes. Also use a black liquid liner( I used Avon Perfect Wear in "Evening Black") and apply a thick line to your upper lash line.
-Finally apply thick false lashes to your eyes.
   Here is the final look!
On my cheeks I used Physicians Formula Multi-Colored Blush in "Blushing Nude"
I used ELF Contouring Blush and Bronzing Powder(bronzer in "bronzed") to contour
I outlined my lips with a brown lip liner and blended it with my finger and applied a light pink lipstick and a gloss for added shine!

Baby Lips "Pink Punch" and "Quenched" Review

I got these products free through Bzzagent.com. I haven't tried them all yet, but I have tried "Quenched" and "Pink Punch".  These are my honest opinions.

All of the Maybelline New York Baby Lips Lip Balms claim to:
-have 8 hour moisture and lip renewal
-82% saw visibly less dry lips
                                                          -94% had less rough lips
-77% saw that there lips were more supple
-77% overall had better looking lips

                                                                       ~PROS~
                                                               -SPF 20 Sunscreen
                                                                    -adds shine
                                                                    -easy to use
                                                                 -cute packaging

Here are my thoughts on each one...
The Blue one is "Quenched" The pink one "Pink Punch"
These both have very cute packaging and the packaging and claims alone are enough to get someone's attention.  The Baby Lips Lip Balms are also very affordable. They retail for about $3.99 at most mass retailers.

I love "Pink Punch" it smells good and adds a nice pink color to your lips. I love pink lips, so this was perfect for me! : ) It didn't have much of a taste, but that's okay. It went on very smooth and added some nice shine to my lips. I will be buying this in the future.

I decided to try out "Quenched" because I heard a lot of people saying that they like it. I did not get the same results as other though. I like that it goes on clear and adds some shine. It doesn't smell bad. It has a light sweet smell to it. When applied it felt thick and I could lightly taste sunscreen. I wasn't really impressed with this one and will not buy this in the future.

Both of these I had to apply several times. My lips sadly did not experience any of the above claims. : (  Even though the claims did not prove truthful for me, I said I would buy "Pink Punch". I like the color of this one, the texture, and the smell.

Here is a swatch of "Pink Punch" on my arm. It look this pink on my lips also.

ELF Brightening Eye Color in "LUXE" and GIVEAWAY! (CLOSED)

I was looking for some eye shadow that was affordable and had some great colors for this season! I found the ELF Brightening Eye Color in "Luxe". It is only $1.00 and has has four shades that I have been able to use for multiple looks! I really do like this one, and for only a buck it's a great value! Here's some swatches and what it looks like. Enjoy!

                                                                       Swatches!
The colors on the top of both pictures I used a primer and the bottom row on both pictures are without a primer.
Here's another one. This is using a primer also.
These shades went on smooth and have a nice light shimmer to them. No big glitter chunks or anything like that. I personally think that this is a great little eye shadow quad. You can create multiple looks with this for day and/or night! I also think this is great to have for the fall and winter months. I plan on using this a lot more and for $1.00 I don't really have any complaints about it! : )

"What's In My Purse"

Today's blog post will be a "What's In My Purse"!

Okay, so this is a picture of the purse that I am using at the moment. My purse claims to be a "Dolce & Gabbana", but I highly doubt it's authentic. I don't really care if it was a knock off though because this purse is cute! Plus, I've had this for year and she has gone through a lot and has held up pretty well!
This is what she looks like : )
Here is what you would would see when you first open it.
Some cute make up bags, wallet, clutch, and I have a Bath & Body Works anti-bacterial hand gel attached.
Here is what's inside of all that!
The red make up bag has these items in it. Lipgloss, liquid eyeliner, face brush, blemish stuff, tweezers, scissors, and three lash curlers.
An empty sparkly clutch : )
My wallet and another make up bag. That bag contains these items: 3 glosses, lipstick, and an eyebrow brush.
These are just some random things I found looking through the pockets
In another pocket I found these sprays, an oil, and a roll on!
That's everything that's in this most likely knock off bag! : )
